  • Age-appropriate books
  • Building blocks
  • Shape toys and clutch balls
  • Mirrors
  • Noise-/music-making toys
  • Visual/tactile sensory stimulation materials
  • Soft washable toys

Nutrition

Parents must sign a food program form to authorize the use of the center formula, cereal and baby food.  Parents who do not utilize center provided formula must provide their own formula and/or breast milk and replenish as needed. All parents must provide bottles and nipples that are labeled to store at the center. Parents wishing to breastfeed on site are welcome at any time.  If you are unable to come in to nurse, you are welcome to supply breast milk in bottles labeled with your child’s name, date, and time expressed.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor play is a special part of the child’s day at MACCC. Fresh air and exercise are important to the total health of your child and to our curriculum. We have our own playground and we go outside every day.

  • Infants go outside when it is 45 degrees or warmer and there is no significant wind, rain, sleet, or snow.

You are asked to make sure your child is dressed for the weather conditions and has appropriate outdoor attire.  Failure to do so will result in a telephone call requiring you to bring in the items needed for the day.

What to Bring

These should all be marked with the child’s first and last name:

  • Disposable diapers
  • Formula (if you are not using the center’s formula)
  • Diaper rash ointment (if needed)
  • Baby wipes
  • Bottles with appropriate nipples
  • Baby food (if not participating in the center’s food program),
  • Pacifiers
  • Blankets (only allowed for children 13 months and older)
